What Practice Equipment Do Swimmers Need?
What to Have?
Swimsuits – Girls: 1-piece racing style with shoulder straps
Boys: Jammers, briefs or square-leg style
Goggles – Speedo, Tyr, and Sporti are easy to find and are good brands. Expect to spend between $10-$20 for a good quality pair. A spare pair can be good to have in case of breakage. The team has some orphan goggles to lend if needed.
Towel
Rash guard – Optional - For warmth, especially early in the season or on cool mornings
Mesh bag – Optional
Swim Cap – Optional - Latex or silicone (silicone is better). Keeps hair our of your face and eyes. Team store has silicone caps with team logos.
Water Bottle - Optional
Nose Plug – Optional, some like them, most don't
Kickboards, Flippers, Hand Paddles, Pull Buoys – We have team sets
