About Us
The Barkers Landing Barracudas Swim Team is a summer swimming program that provides coaching, organized practice and friendly competition. We help children of all levels of ability build confidence, sportsmanship, character, skills, friendships and health through competitive swimming. We are located in West Houston and serve the Barkers Landing and surrounding neighborhoods. We are a member of the West Houston Aquatic League (WHALe), formed in 1985. As of 2024, WHALe has 31 teams and over 5000 swimmers. The Barracudas were founded in 1984 and are one of the original 8 founding teams of WHALe.

Registration
Registration is typically open mid/late March through early May each year. Registration closes before the date of the first official League competition. When registration is open, a link will be prominently displayed on the Home page of this site.
